The
basement of parking garage at the basement of the
Suan Sunanta building appeared to require major
structural rehabilitation. On the basement
level, the concrete of structural frame slab was
spalled at various locations.
IMMS
was requested to assist on visual
inspection and rehabilitation of the
above problem. We found that the ground water was
seeping up through the deteriorated concrete slab
causing corrosion in steel throughout the observed
area. Material testing, repair recommendation, as
well as routine field inspection were provided.
