Bridges
are one of the important components in the nation's transportation
infrastructure system. There are more than 20,000 bridges throughout
Thailand. Since most of bridges are approaching their designed
life, a routine bridge maintenance program is mandatory to keep
these bridges safe in a serviceable condition for general public
use.
However,
the budget to maintain all these bridges is most likely to be
relatively limited. Bridge Management System (BMS) is the most
efficient service provided by IMMS to assist in decision-making
process as where and when inspection, repair, and maintenance
budget should be relocated to.
